What You'll Do
- Understand the complete ETL development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, documentation, configuration, development, testing, and deployment.
- Engage with business users/other teams to get clarifications on data issues/requirements
- ETL code development and support in Matillion ETL.
- Build clear, structured, and effective documentation that will enable developers within the team to maintain ETL.
- Proactively seek opportunities for process improvement: identify and resolve process bottlenecks, data issues, and inconsistencies to help improve operational efficiencies.
- Suggest improvements inspired by ideas from the global Matillion community and the broader data engineering community.
- This role is fully on-site in our Hyderabad, India office

What You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 Years of ETL development experience with Data warehouse, Data engineering, or similar roles
- Must have 2+ years of experience with Matillion or tools like Pentaho/Informatica / Talend.
- Strong in SQL.
- Experience in Cloud databases like Snowflake/Redshift.
- Extensive knowledge of data warehousing concepts like Change Data Capture and Slowly Changing Dimensions, as well as experience with real-world ETL implementation.
- Experience in Ticketing applications - JIRA/Zendesk.

- Matillion ‘Building A Datawarehouse’ Certification.
