Job Summary:

Warehouse Associates are responsible for receiving, moving, picking and shipping product throughout our warehouse and integration operations. Responsibilities include applying and scanning labels to endure product is properly tracked, ensuring all product is safely and securely loaded or stored. The position reports to a Warehouse Supervisor. This position works in a fast-paced environment, operates handheld scanning equipment, follows processes and is a team player.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Learns and supports the processes of receiving, shipping and warehousing materials.
  • Collects information to understand problems and identify their origin.
  • Research events and known solutions for basic or routine problems.
  • Implements prescribed steps and ensures effective resolution, escalating troubleshooting if needed.
  • Demonstrates attention during discussions by taking notes and asking clarifying questions.
  • Demonstrates awareness of non-verbal behavior/cues (i.e., body language) when listening and communicating.
  • Restates and reflect back information to check for understanding.
  • Works with supervisors to set goals and priorities for individual work and manages time efficiently to accomplish goals.
  • Remains focused without becoming sidetracked by non-urgent or less important tasks or interruptions.
  • Demonstrates punctuality and reliability in meeting individual deadlines, complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Complies with and promote safety guidelines.
  • Promotes a clean and organized (5S) warehouse operation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school/GED required
  • Some warehousing experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • This position is required to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on doing whatever it takes to get the job done to deliver customer delight
  • The nature of the role requires an ability to deliver high quality, thorough and accurate work on deadlines
  • Standard shift hours are generally observed, and the job may include voluntary or mandatory overtime
  • This role will be expected to work in a non-climate controlled environment
  • This role includes assignment of work for specific WWT customers. Some customers have specific on-boarding requirements, including background check and drug testing requirements that go beyond WWT's requirements. Ability to meet these requirements may be necessary for continued employment, depending on needs of the department.
