A Brief Overview

A Senior Manager of Order Management leads an Order Management team that is accountable for driving programmatic results, including key performance indicators. A Senior Manager of Order Management drives organizational change and owns the execution of the strategic Order Management vision. Reporting to a senior leader within Order Management, an individual in this role is responsible for driving and maintaining a world class supply chain by ensuring industry and company best practices are used and customer delight is maintained. Senior Managers of Order Management should lead with a continuous improvement mindset and propagate a continuous improvement culture across the team. Individuals in this role also are responsible for building and creating leaders within the Order Management Organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Accountable for results produced by entire organization and strategic Initiative are executed effectively.
  • Proactively communicate in a clear and concise manner to internal and external customers
  • Leads execution and cross-functional collaboration throughout WWT Supply Chain
  • Leads achievement and improvement in Organizational KPIs through operational excellence and process improvement
  • Utilize a strategic approach to understand team skillset and manage accordingly
  • Accountable to ensure measurement of continuous improvement Initiative for organization
  • Determine and drive best practices through organization to ensure programs are onboarded properly to ensure customer delight, operational effectiveness, and corporate & industry standards are applied
  • Creating operational and customer-driven reporting and insights utilizing business intelligence tools to drive organizational action
  • Accountable to ensure direct customer interaction results in customer delight and manages through customer escalations and issues
  • Training, coaching and guiding the development of the team on standard policies, procedures and best practices while promoting professional growth
  • Monitoring staff performance and identifying opportunities for individual and team improvement
  • Offering assistance and guidance in Orders Management staffing and hiring decisions
  • Promoting the World Wide Technology Integrated Management and Leadership tools and concepts
  • Implements execution of Order Management Strategic Vision
  • Performing employee reviews and assessments
  • Organizes resources efficiently and effectively to get things done
  • Treats direct reports fairly, with positive intentions, and does not play favorites
  • Provides clear and productive direction to their team via thorough planning and effective communication

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field required
  • 7+ years of supply chain related experience, preferably in a complex manufacturing environment as well as experience in a customer facing role.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, which includes the management of direct reports

Travel Requirements

Up to 10% of the time Domestic and International Travel

  • The nature of the role requires an ability to deliver high quality, thorough and accurate work on deadlines through successful navigation of shifting customer requirements and competing organizational demands
  • Standard business hours are generally observed, with work from home schedules and flexibility on start/end times, and there may also be opportunities for overtime and periodic domestic/international travel (up to 10%)
  • This role will be expected to work in an open-office environment with desk sharing/hoteling practices. Travel between our Maryland Heights, MO and Edwardsville, IL locations is common
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on routine assignments

Licenses and Certifications

  • APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) - Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification through IASSC preferred
