What is the European Services Sales Team and why join?
The World Wide Technology European Services Sales Team is rapidly expanding, and we are growing our services selling team. Our focus is on delivering best-in-class technology solutions to Tier-1 Global Financial companies. If you have a proven track record of success in services or consulting sales, we want to hear from you.
What will you be doing?
Responsibilities:
- Position and foster compelling services and programmatic solutions to customer accounts, including:
- Driving high-quality proposals aligned with clients' strategies, priorities, and commercial options.
- Challenging internal organizations to positively disrupt the status quo and explore new approaches.
- Developing accurate, detailed service scopes that mitigate scope creep and cost overruns.
- Ensuring pricing, hours, and travel meet WWT standards.
- Identify, qualify, and expand services portfolio offerings for target clients.
- Proactively increase services revenue and profitability within assigned portfolios.
- Collaborate with account teams, technical owners, and Professional Services teams to develop strategic solutions.
- Lead strategic discussions with clients, building trust-based relationships with senior management.
- Create and deliver winning proposals and offerings that address client needs and demonstrate WWT's value.
- Broaden and strengthen go-to-market strategies and service offerings in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience selling complex technology solutions to Tier-1 Global Financial companies.
- Proven track record of managing and closing multi-million-dollar projects.
- Deep consulting and delivery expertise with insight into the financial services sector.
- Knowledge of customer programmatic constructs and contracting methods (e.g., SOWs, RFI, RFQ, RFP).
- Expertise in one or more core domains:
- Technology infrastructure (e.g., end-user computing, data centers, enterprise networks).
- Cybersecurity.
- Emerging technologies (e.g., Cloud, AI).
- Enterprise architecture.
- Ability to develop strategic programmatic services artifacts, such as levels of effort and statements of work.
- Strong commercial acumen to shape deals and maximize profitability.
- Excellent communication skills, including a track record of creating and delivering impactful proposals.
- Emotional intelligence to navigate complex client relationships and challenging discussions.
- A high degree of collaboration with sales, delivery, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and success.
