WWT EMEA, NL is seeking a proactive and hands-on Senior Warehouse Manager to lead, develop, and manage a team of 50 warehouse personnel with an expected growth in 3-5 years to 150 employees at our European Integration Center in Oude Meer. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving continuous improvement, and managing change while fostering a culture of growth and adaptability. As a leader we expect you to "get your hands dirty" and lead by example alongside our team to ensure operational excellence. You will also have the ability to manage up to the Senior Vice President level, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and presenting a Quarterly Business Review. This position reports to the Senior Director of Global Operations at the European Integration Center in Oude Meer.

  • Lead and develop a team of supervisors/managers and warehouse staff to meet and exceed departmental goals while driving a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.
  • Work on the ground with your team, demonstrating a hands-on approach to problem-solving and operational tasks.
  • Effectively communicate operational performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior leadership, including up to the Senior Vice President level.
  • Develop and implement best practices in equipment operations, ensuring compliance with policies and standards, and continuously adapting to industry changes.
  • Drive and lead process improvements that align with business goals and proactively address evolving market dynamics.
  • Plan and manage production capacity to adapt to operational needs, ensuring efficient material flow for production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to solve complex issues, driving innovative solutions that ensure the organization's growth and transformation.
  • Oversee large-scale change management initiatives, ensuring seamless execution while communicating key developments and impact to senior executives.
  • Provide strategic insights and operational reports to senior leadership, ensuring alignment between warehouse operations and overall business objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and 5S standards, while continuously pushing for operational improvements and efficiency.
  • 10-15 years of experience in warehousing, with 5-10 years of leadership experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a senior warehouse management position.
  • Proven experience managing up to senior leadership levels (Senior Director, VP, SVP) and aligning operational performance with strategic goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in business-level English, with the ability to effectively present to senior leadership.
  • Proficient in computer skills and warehouse management systems.
  • Experience leading large-scale process improvements and driving successful change management initiatives.
  • High level of cultural awareness, adaptability, and active listening skills.
  • Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to work directly on the warehouse floor when necessary.
