Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and driven Senior Consultant in Network Security who is an expert in Fortinet technology to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, implementing, and managing advanced Fortinet and network security solutions for our clients. You will leverage your expertise to enhance security posture, address complex security challenges, and ensure robust protection of network infrastructure.

As a Solutions Senior Consultant, you will lead and execute consulting engagements for clients across various industries. You will assess security risks, develop strategies, and implement solutions to safeguard client environments. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to provide strategic guidance. Work is accomplished with limited direction. Determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met. Travel up to 50% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Fortinet and network security solutions tailored to client requirements, ensuring optimal protection against threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Operate as a Subject Matter Expert in Fortinet technology and deliver outcomes across the Fortinet product portfolio
  • Assist in Statement of Work creation for Fortinet and network security services opportunities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of client networks to identify risks and vulnerabilities. Provide detailed reports and actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance on network security strategies, threat mitigation, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Support and manage responses to network security incidents, including investigation, remediation, and recovery efforts.
  • Create comprehensive documentation of security solutions, configurations, and incidents. Prepare and present reports to clients and stakeholders.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies. Incorporate new knowledge into client solutions and internal practices.
  • Work closely with other consultants and technical teams to deliver integrated network security solutions. Share knowledge and best practices to enhance team performance.

Essential Functions:

  • Partner with clients to define strategies aligned with customer business goals and market demands.
  • Conduct assessments, market research, and competitive analysis to inform strategy development.
  • Lead the development of business cases, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate value and feasibility.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, manage expectations, and ensure project success.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Advise on Level of Effort to conduct Fortinet services engagements
  • Develop and present comprehensive recommendations and strategies to clients.
  • Communicate complex concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Manage projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, and project delivery.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Use data visualization skills, charts, and other data models to bring analysis to life
  • Work independently and collaboratively with a project team or partner across the enterprise to bring the best to our clients
  • Performs analyses to define, confirm or quantify a client business problem.
  • Support implementation of designed solutions to achieve project-defined business impacts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in consulting, with at least 3 years working with Fortinet technology
  • Strategy: Expertise in developing and implementing strategies that drive business outcomes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of required technologies, platforms, and architectures.
  • Client Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage project scope, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical and critical thinking skills to solve complex business and technical challenges.
  • Foundational skills in asking pertinent questions to grasp business challenges and identify key metrics or objectives.
  • Developing internal communication skills, learning to effectively communicate with different levels of management.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks, including requirement gathering, document writing, and support activities.
  • A problem-solving mindset, contributing creative solutions to complex issues in collaborative team environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • The capability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and other security technologies.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
  • Fortinet Certified Solution Specialist (FCSS) or NSE-7 certifications required
