What will you be doing?

The IT Senior Analyst uses a broad range of functional and technical skills toward the build-out and integration of custom WWT applications and third-party vendor systems and products. This position involves acting as a liaison between the business/end users and IT systems development teams for business needs requiring IT based solutions. The employee will have a strong understanding of systems, and architecture, and the ability to translate business outcomes and requirements to the technical teams. They will be a coach, mentor, and guide to more junior members of the team. The ideal candidate will have a high EQ, be able to work independently and as part of a team, build cross-functional relationships, and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with changing priorities and ambiguity.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and promote WWT Core Values and best practices.
  • Participate and consult in architecture, design, implementation, and configuration of various WWT and vendor systems and products including integrations.
  • Analyze data flow within various WWT and vendor systems and products and various boundary and custom web applications to resolve issues and to identify process improvements.
  • Provide direction, guidance, and resolution of Production issues.
  • Work with other technology teams across the enterprise to ensure common direction and compliance.
  • Provide functional and technical leadership and mentorship while promoting best practices and direction to team members.
  • Partner with external vendors, customers, and internal teams to manage implementations and ongoing support.
  • Support the development of technical solutions and provide ongoing assistance and consultation to resolve problems to ensure the solutions meet the end users' requirements.
  • Creatively develop tools, visual aids, and other original content to support the understanding/education of complex and technical information such as data, business processes, and IT workflows
  • Mentor others on the best practices and approaches for creating clear, concise, and organized communication materials to convey technical concepts in a user-friendly way.
  • Challenge others to bring fresh and creative perspectives to differentiating technical communications and ensuring comprehension and ease of use for various audiences.
  • Research technical specifications, articulate technical messages, and display deep technical expertise through well-written, well-organized and professional documents for technical use and according to technical standards.
  • Develop architectural diagrams and system documentation.
  • Gain insight into how customers utilize technology for their competitive advantage and apply this knowledge to suggest areas for improvement.
  • Convey the right information to the correct parties to ensure that proposals for improvements are given the proper consideration and technical issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to driving product strategy by identifying industry change, listening to customer needs, capturing feedback, and communicating that feedback to business stakeholders.
  • Translate complex customer business requirements into functional and technical requirements using standard templates, writing acceptance criteria and stories.
  • Recommend solutions based on requirements and coordinate with development teams to finalize solutions.
  • Lead discussions with peers and business stakeholders, actively listening and questioning/clarifying information to ensure understanding of customer technology needs and solutions.
  • Review requirements/proposed solutions with the development teams.
  • Perform root cause analysis on all levels of problems in their applications, including problems that occur as a result of application integrations.
  • Work closely with developers to determine the best course of action, helping guide their team in remediating problems, taking into account complexity and level of effort.
  • Translate problem scope and suggested solution to both product owner and stakeholders.
  • Write and perform functional and end-to-end testing, suggesting areas for automated testing.
  • Lead and facilitate user acceptance testing sessions.
  • Identify and mitigate potential performance impacts during solution design.
  • Create systems diagrams to demonstrate the pros and cons of solutions.
  • Communicate solutions to stakeholders, team members, and product owners.
  • Drive completion of a solution by executing, working with developers, and/or guiding others
  • Work in an agile software development lifecycle environment to deliver solutions.
  • Works with automated partner to partner (B2B) integrations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 to 6 years' progressive experience in a related field.
  • Experience working with Beeline's Extended Workforce Platform is a plus, but not required.
  • 5 years' experience performing business or system analysis.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming
  • Proficient in creating SQL queries to troubleshoot, develop metrics, and create ad-hoc reporting.
  • Ability to read and maintain existing PL/SQL objects.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a combination of education, training and experience may be considered in place of a degree.
