Position Overview:
The Security Solutions Delivery Manager will oversee strategic engagements in cyber resilience, managed risk assessment, network security, and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). You will be assigned to large, complex opportunities to drive delivery excellence and oversee the delivery of Solution projects and services, ensuring they meet client expectations and align with organizational goals. Solution Delivery Managers oversee client relationships, end-to-end delivery and financial management. They will lead a team of solution consultants, manage project portfolios, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery. Works with minimal direction toward predetermined long-range goals. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. Determines and pursues courses of action essential in obtaining desired results.
Key responsibilities include project planning and coordination, team leadership, and client engagement to address security needs. They develop frameworks for cyber resilience, implement security best practices, and ensure compliance with regulations through policy development and audits. The manager assesses client network security architecture, monitors threats, and maintains thorough documentation while managing budgets and fostering cross-functional collaboration. By staying updated on industry trends and gathering feedback, they drive continuous improvement in service delivery and enhance clients' security postures.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure all contract deliverables are met within the timelines specified in the Statement of Work.
- Responsible for customer engagement as the primary point of contact for the customer during project execution.
- Collaborate with the customer to define project success criteria and clearly communicate those goals to the team. Review progress toward those goals on a regular basis by determining specific metrics that the team should gather and report. Hold teams accountable for achieving goals.
- Ensure that project risks are identified, tracked, and communicated with the customer on a regular basis. Where possible, implement mitigation strategies. Escalate risks to leadership as appropriate if there are indications that targets will not be reached. Coordinate dependencies and assess risks across multi-team engagements (if applicable).
- Serve as a liaison between the delivery team and support teams. Remove roadblocks for the team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in consulting, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role overseeing delivery
- Project Management: Advanced skills in project planning, execution, and risk management.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Client Management: Excellent relationship-building and client management skills.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Foundational skills in asking pertinent questions to grasp business challenges and identify key metrics or objectives.
- Developing internal communication skills, learning to effectively communicate with different levels of management.
- Proficiency in managing multiple tasks, including requirement gathering, document writing, and support activities.
- A problem-solving mindset, contributing creative solutions to complex issues in collaborative team environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- The capability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
