Position Overview:

As a Consultant, you will specialize in cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance management, and strategy. The candidate will be responsible for assessing and enhancing clients' cybersecurity posture to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will conduct and/or support audits, assessments (e.g., risk, maturity, etc.), and regulatory compliance reviews, providing strategic guidance and solutions to mitigate cybersecurity risks effectively.

Collaborating closely with clients and internal teams, you will contribute to the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and controls, aiming to protect sensitive information and optimize overall cybersecurity resilience.

The Security Solutions Consultant will take on a strategic role in client engagements, supporting and at times, leading analysis efforts, developing solutions, and providing advice to drive business transformation. The individual will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative and impactful solutions that meet client needs and enhance organizational performance. This will be accomplished by engaging with customer leadership to define priorities and outcomes for engagements, expanding the capabilities and offerings of the practice and delivering on consulting engagements in a team contributory capacity. Work is accomplished with moderate supervision and is reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy. The position includes travel up to 50% as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between the delivery team and support teams. Remove roadblocks for the team as needed.
  • Use data visualization skills, charts, and other data models to bring analysis to life
  • Work independently and collaboratively with a project team or partner across the enterprise to bring the best to our clients
  • Performs analyses to define, confirm or quantify a client business problem.
  • Support implementation of designed solutions to achieve project-defined business impacts.
  • Defines and deliver strategy, design, and execution of integrated tech solutions at scale
  • Ensure delivery milestones are established and tracked, and delivery progress is forecasted and communicated to the customer, team, and stakeholders.
  • Communicate and escalate deviations in scope or timeline appropriately.
  • Ensure all assigned tasks are complete within the timelines of the project plan.
  • Ensure that project risks are identified, tracked, and communicated with the customer on a regular basis. Where possible, define and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Escalate risks to leadership as appropriate if there are indications that targets will not be reached.
  • Coordinate dependencies and assess risks across multi-team engagements (if applicable).

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS required. 3-5 years work experience
  • Skilled at multitasking requirements including gathering, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting tasks across multiple user groups in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
  • Ability to generate creative solutions to difficult or ambiguous problems
  • Thoughtful problem-solving skills and ability to work well in groups
  • Ability to ask the right questions to understand the business problem and identify the measurement or business object
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • The ideal candidate is a supportive, positive, self-driven, and growth-oriented individual with a passion for delivering quality insights in a business environment
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills; ability to communicate and modify approach, language, and style to different audiences
  • Professional writing style and experience with demonstrable technical and business-related artifacts is required
  • Collaborative, with the ability to manage conflicting interests and deal with ambiguity.
  • Strong teamwork qualities: able to gain the trust of customers and collaborate effectively within the WWT team.
  • Intellectually curious with a desire to understand constantly evolving technology solutions.
  • Proactive, collaborative, with emotional intelligence, and the capacity to learn and synthesize new information.
  • Adaptable, with the ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Compliance/Framework Experience in one or more of the following:

  • NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-30, ISO 27001/2, HIPPA, GDPR, FFIEC, CIS, COBIT, HITRUST, CSA CCM, AICPA SOC 2, Third Party Risk Management, IT Risk Management
