World WideTechnology, Inc. currently has an opportunity available for a Team Lead to support our Time and Attendance applications team located at its headquarters in St. Louis, MO.
As a member of our Application Services leadership team, you will:
- Provide leadership and promote WWT core values and best practices to a team of 7+ located in the US and India
- Grow and develop members of your team: understand their goals and work with them to achieve them, hold regular and effective 1-on-1s, provide real-time coaching and engage in difficult conversations as needed, and recognize and reward the right behaviors.
- Provide input into team members' compensation, hire/performance improvement/fire decisions, and promotions
- Proactively identify and help solve issues as part of the Corporate Services delivery leadership team.
- Create and foster an atmosphere of mentoring, quality, diversity, collaboration, and improvement by actively coaching your team members.
- Escalate and remove impediments from the teams to help them be as effective as possible.
- Work with the delivery team, architecture, infrastructure & operations and others as needed to provide innovative IT solutions to business challenges that align to the HCM and time & attendance strategy
- Help with the ongoing development and support of existing business processes.
- Participate in the design of complex solutions, primarily within the Human Resources and/or Time & Attendance domains.
- Provide functional and technical leadership while promoting the delivery of best practices and direction to team members.
- Hold the team accountable for meeting commitments while adhering to the organization's quality, methodology, and architecture standards.
- Work as part of a leadership team along with Product Owner and Scrum Coach to drive efficient and effective value delivery
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate ability to deliver solutions through the team from problem definition, requirements elicitation, and impact analysis, development, testing, and delivery on complex projects spanning multiple Finance and HR stakeholder communities. Must be able to coach and develop teams through this process.
- Capable of communicatingappropriate level of process and technical detail across different organizations and hierarchies
- Ability to think creatively and recognize, develop, and encourage creativity in others.
- Possess a solid understanding of Product Ownership, Agile, Lean and Scrum principles and build it in others
- Strong understanding of either HR and/or time and attendance business processes and how technology can enhance and improve these processes.
- Experience withUG Kronos software applications or equivalent systems experience, is preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of management experience with business analyst, development, or consulting experience in enterprise-level solutions
- Proficient in the Software Development Lifecycle
- Bachelor's Degree; preferably in HR, Business Management, MIS, or a related technical field
- Previousexperience managing project initiatives across multiple IT and business organizations.
- Good project management skills
- Strong communicationskills (written, verbal, and presentation)
- Independent, self-motivated
