What will you be doing?
World Wide Technology, Inc. has an opportunity available for a UC Domain Architect (DA) to support our Professional Services National Practice Organization. As a DA, your primary objective is to support Professional Services through maintaining a high level of technical expertise around several Collaboration disciplines, supporting sales and delivery teams from customer facing pre-sales to architecture design to oversight and escalation support of post sales engineering resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide presales support for account teams (Account Managers, CSE's and CSA's and PS organization for potential complex PS services engagements.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all aspects of Unified Communications for both on-prem and cloud-based solutions such as UCCM, WebEx Calling, Microsoft Teams, etc
- Communication skills - able to highly articulate and convey important messages in a clear and compelling manner
- Presentation skills - ability to present various audiences (technical and non-technical)
- Responsible for the delivery of UC projects which includes design, & implementation as a post sales consultant to WWT's Commercial Enterprise clients.
- Create Low Level and High Level Designs utilizing industry best practices for enterprise level customers.
- Lead the delivery of Unified Communication solutions.
- Actively participate and support delivery engineers throughout all phases of a project including Project Launch Workshops, Kickoff calls, lessons learned, etc. as needed.
- Review client deliverables to identify opportunities to improve quality through training, mentoring, product offering improvement, and talent acquisition.
- Work with Discipline Leads to assist in developing and delivering training and updates on new services.
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have at least 10+ years of experience designing, deploying, and implementing core UC solutions with industry best practices
- Strong background in Unified Communications, both on-prem Cisco Unified Communications Manager and cloud-based such as WebEx Calling and Microsoft Teams
- Cisco UCCX experience is a huge plus
- Automation/Scripting experience is a huge plus
- Experience with third party solutions (Redsky, vBrick etc)
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong customer service orientation with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Related degree in computer science or electrical engineering and/or five equivalent storage engineering experience.
