Position Overview:

As a Director, you will lead large, complex or multiple practice areas, focusing on strategic growth, client relationship management, and operational excellence within the Cybersecurity Mergers and Acquisitions Security Solutions practice. You will collaborate with customer and WWT senior leadership to define practice strategies, drive business development initiatives, and ensure the delivery of exceptional services.

The candidate will oversee the cyber related strategic initiatives involving the acquisition, merger, or divestiture of industry firms. Responsibilities will include leading due diligence processes, assessing cyber security risks, negotiating deals, and integrating a customer's combined and enhanced overall cyber defense capability. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with customer executive teams to align acquisitions with business goals and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the M&A lifecycle.

These responsibilities require strong leadership, strategic thinking, technical expertise in cybersecurity, and the ability to navigate complex business and regulatory landscapes. The ideal candidate will work with minimal direction toward predetermined long-range goals, acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments, and determines and pursues courses of action essential in obtaining desired results while simultaneously managing multiple engagements. The position includes travel up to 25% as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Execution

  • Strategy development through formulating and executing strategies that align with the customer's overall business objectives and cybersecurity goals.
  • Due diligence of leading or overseeing comprehensive assessments of potential customer acquisitions and evaluating their cybersecurity posture, risks, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Identifying and analyzing cybersecurity risks associated with potential transactions and developing strategies to mitigate these risks during the integration process.
  • Negotiating deal terms and conditions, including cybersecurity-related aspects such as data protection measures, cybersecurity liabilities, and intellectual property rights.
  • Developing integration plans to smoothly incorporate acquired cybersecurity capabilities, technologies, and personnel into the organization, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maintaining security standards.
  • Collaborating closely with legal, finance, IT, and other departments to ensure alignment and coordination throughout the customer M&A process, specifically regarding cybersecurity implications.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations, industry standards, and corporate governance requirements throughout all stages of M&A activities.
  • Providing ongoing support and oversight post-merger or acquisition to monitor cybersecurity integration progress, address any issues that arise, and optimize cybersecurity capabilities across the organization.
  • Communicating with executive leadership and stakeholders to provide updates on cybersecurity M&A activities, risks, and opportunities.
  • Staying informed about emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices to continuously improve the company's cybersecurity M&A strategies and processes.

  • Work cross functional with various teams and key stakeholders to achieve scalable solutions.
  • Define and implement strategic plans for practice areas, aligning with organizational goals and market opportunities.
  • Lead the development of practice roadmaps, initiatives, and performance metrics to achieve growth targets.

Relationship Management:

  • Develop and nurture internal relationships with the goal of strong collaboration across multiple teams in WWT.
  • Demonstrate leadership mentality by being a motivational/coaching leader to aid in maximizing team performance.

People/Team Management:

  • Support team to disrupt, improve and evolve ways of working when necessary
  • Arrange and sponsor appropriate assignments and experiences to help support team in their long-term career aspirations
  • Mentor future leaders, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional advancement
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Practice Managers and consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and support career development opportunities.
  • Oversee operational aspects of the practices, including resource allocation, project management, and financial performance.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a technology related field required. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in management consulting, relationship (client and internal) management, and solution strategy with proven leadership achievements in the cybersecurity and mergers and acquisitions space.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading consulting team engagements.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth and operational excellence.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships at senior levels.

  • Ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Understanding of financial principles and ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and profitability.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in consulting practices, with a focus on delivering value-added solutions to clients.
  • Strong business acumen, with extensive knowledge of various industries and market dynamics
