As a Consulting Systems Engineer (CSE), you will be partnering with Client Managers to provide the technical Pre-Sales work for our Fortune 500 clients across all verticals. No two days will be the same as our broad offerings include Infrastructure Modernization, Multicloud Architecture, Security Transformation and Digital Strategy among others. What will you be doing?
The Consulting Systems Engineer (CSE) role will bring technical Pre-Sales experience to our clients within Milwaukee/Madison, WI market. Day to day responsibilities will include participation in client sales meetings, presentations, white board sessions and custom technical design work. The CSE will team with local Client Managers to build client relationships, partner with multiple OEM's and take part in technical training to provide continued value to the clients. Technical expertise expansion is highly encouraged as you look to learn about new areas of interest and be on the forefront of cutting-edge technologies. This position will require the ability to travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Pre-Sales Consulting Systems Engineering.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders.
- Serve as the technical liaison to all supported clients.
- Hosting and moderating client workshops to develop solutions to solve client business problems leveraging people, process, and technology.
- Develop Level of Effort documentation to support Professional and Partner Driven Services work.
- Validation and Qualification of labor hours for Professional Services work.
- Assist in developing Bill of Materials and Client facing quotes for Hardware and Support products.
- Architecture and Design of multiple IT infrastructure technologies including but not limited to LAN/WAN, Data Center Network, Cloud Connectivity, Wireless, Collaboration, Firewalls, Application Delivery Controllers, and Security.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must live in and/or near Minneapolis, MN area
- Experience supporting complex enterprise environments, ideally at larger enterprise companies.
- Demonstrates a solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to integrate and leverage our extensive portfolio of services and OEMs to address complex customer needs and drive successful outcomes.
- Strong experience with multiple of the following disciplines required: Collaboration, Data Center Connectivity including Cloud, Campus & Branch Connectivity, Hyper-converged Infrastructure, Unified Communications, Wireless, Security Infrastructure including Next Gen Firewalls
- Strong experience with any of the following disciplines is a plus: Data Protection, Compute, Storage, Virtualization.
- The ability to understand a client's business model and determine technical and resource requirements for a solution from a client's business objectives.
- Experience with scoping Professional Services and Enterprise Solutions Statements of Work.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, product demonstration skills, customer service skills, and presentation skills are required.
- Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience required.
