What will you be doing as an Accountant II?
We currently have an open position for a Accountant II, reporting to the Cost Accounting Manager. This position will support the FP&A team and is responsible for communicating any events or activities that may impact the financial results of the business unit, while ensuring accounting is recorded in accordance with GAAP.
Responsibilities:
- Reconciling and/or reviewing reconciliation of subledger activity to general ledger account balances
- Supporting month-end and year-end close
- Preparing and/or reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with front-end sales order setup process to ensure accounting is accurate
- Review profitability reports for accuracy and research issues as needed
- Coordinate with Operations to research and resolve order issues
- Communicate with FP&A on financial results
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (Must)
- 2 years of progressive business experience in finance and accounting required
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software suite
- Exposure to information technology industry is a plus
