The Opportunity

The position of Member Services Associate plays a critical role in both the maintenance and sustainability of our innovation communities. As an MS Associate you will work closely with the Group Leader to manage the health of each membership by curating engagement with the ultimate goal of renewal. The successful candidate will support member-related initiatives for our Healthcare communities, such as new member onboarding, strategic engagement, and event execution, while ensuring seamless interdepartmental collaboration on all member-related touch points. This role is open for hire at either the senior associate or associate level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Group Leader on the execution of all membership activities
  • Serve as a liaison to the member and their additional POCs, managing outbound communications in physical and electronic form
  • Partners with Group Leader to manage membership retention, including membership renewal process, AP collections and member engagement opportunities
  • Provides support for onboarding for new members
  • Coordinate event details including communicating logistics and ensuring member intel is collected
  • Administration, customization and application of Salesforce.com
  • Manages the distribution of various mailings to members
  • Actively manage pool of members, updating collateral, monitoring relationships and support strategies to provide the highest quality of service to the various memberships
  • Travels onsite to 6+ in-person programs throughout the calendar year, 3 in spring, 3 in fall
  • Manage the execution of our Member App engagement
  • Special projects as they arise

Experience and Education

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership for wide-ranging responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the flexibility to accommodate different situations and temperaments
  • Highly organized, creative and attentive to detail
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Resourcefulness and ability to work proactively
  • Flexibility to work outside of strict job description parameters, thinking creatively about how to provide highest quality of member service
  • Works well under pressure
  • Experience with project management, scheduling and multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrates poise in personal interactions with C-level executives
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or Marketing preferred
  • Experience with CRM database (Salesforce.com a plus)
