The Role

The WME Video Tech is essential in supporting assistants and agents at both local and remote locations in relation to audio/video contents (DVDS, VHS, Digital) that aid procuring jobs for clients across television, film, commercials, voice-over, sports, and music. This high-volume position involves managing requests at various stages of development, production, and post-production.

General responsibilities and duties

  • Responsible for the creation and management of digital files for external and internal viewing of clients' materials.
  • Organize and maintain internal data library.
  • Ensure metadata accuracy to facilitate easy library searches.
  • Edit and create client reels.
  • Perform color and sound correction for client reels, auditions, meetings, and presentation.
  • Convert client materials to add to WME data library.
  • Prioritize and deliver a high volume of confidential materials to studios and clients.
  • Capture client materials, including movies, TV shows, interviews, and other related video/sound content.
  • Convert DVDS, VHS tapes, and other physical media into digital formats.
  • Research across all media medium to stay informed about clients and new software and technology to expedite and improve overall workflow.
  • Updating our data library daily with submission materials for clients (selftapes, reels, tv shows, and films).
  • Work closely with assistants to produce top-quality content aimed at securing jobs for our clients.
  • Act as the gatekeeper and liaison between the assistants and the legal department to ensure the prevention of copyright infringement issues.
  • Adherence to and enforcement of all information security protocols.
  • Always maintain complete confidentiality and discretion

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in editing software: Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, and iMovie.
  • Time-Management and Organization: Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Working knowledge of the Film/TV space: casting process, cable/network channels, streaming services, file sharing service companies, and film/television release dates.
  • Multitasking: Effectively handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate challenges and provide solutions.

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Range Minimum:
$22.50 hourly

Hiring Range Maximum:
$30.00 hourly
