The Director, Brand Strategy & Activation is responsible for developing and executing 360° brand strategy & activation programs for WME Sports brand clients.

The role will be responsible for: crafting strategy from ideation to execution, taking into consideration priority targets/markets, integrating digital, social, content and live activation Analyzing research findings and identifying concepts that align with the brand, support brand(s) marketing objectives, and drive business results. executing and overseeing the development of brand(s)-specific marketing plans, managing branded elements across a variety of brand(s) assets and supporting the day-to-day needs of the brand(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with sales and integrated marketing colleagues to create cross-platform programs that support brand(s) initiatives and meet brand(s) KPIs
  • Collaborate across divisions including digital, talent, designer, and content producers to develop innovative ideas and programs that support brand(s) programs.
  • Write strategic and compelling deliverables - including creating and maintaining client-ready materials, such as POVs, recommendations, and activation plans
  • Attend brand(s) meetings and pitch creative/strategic ideas
  • Interface with other account team members, brand(s) and all appropriate agencies and partner properties to coordinate all fulfillment aspects of assigned programs and events
  • Manage client relationships and expectations throughout the development and execution of programs
  • Manage the day-to-day work flow, planning, timelines, costs to ensure that all project needs are met on time and within budget
  • Manage the upfront RFP and evaluation process for new, renewed and prospective partnerships for the brand(s), as well as the after-action performance measurement process based on established client objectives
  • Work closely with 3rd party vendors in the execution and implementation of brand activations including social media, ad products and marketing/digital production partners
  • Follow industry insights and trends for assigned categories and share updates in department meetings

IDEAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5-7 year's qualifying experience in integrated brand strategy & activation role at a property, team, and/or agency
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the sports & entertainment industry
  • Experience with brand positioning, marketing strategies, and experiential marketing
  • Excellent strategic writer with strong packaging and presentation skills
  • Participation in the selection, negotiation, and evaluation of successful sponsorship programs
  • Proven ability to prioritize workflow, manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with client management experience preferred
  • Ability to give clear and on-brand direction
  • Ability to travel as required (including weekend events)
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite & Photoshop
