Senior Marketing Operations Manager

Wistia is looking for a Senior Marketing Operations Manager to partner with the demand generation, lifecycle marketing, campaign teams, as well as other Marketing functions. The Marketing Operations Manager will support cross-functional project management and be responsible for managing and improving outcomes associated with our Marketing Automation Platform, GA4, and other integrated Marketing technology. This role will also help develop strategic marketing operations projects to support continued revenue & customer growth. 

The Senior Marketing Operations Manager will be expected to define and improve processes and systems related to marketing operations to help ensure marketing is measuring and continually improving its efforts. You will also be responsible for ensuring our technology systems are set up according to best practices, are in alignment with Sales and Customer Success processes, and provide a scalable foundation for engaging prospects and customers. The ideal candidate will thrive when applying their analytical and growth mindset, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open, clear communication.

The Senior Marketing Operations Manager will join our dynamic Operations team, which is a cornerstone to our execution of strategic initiatives related to our customers, data, process and systems. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams including Acquisition, Growth, Product Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance, BI & CS Ops to ensure seamless execution and delivery of measurable results.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage marketing technology stack and roadmap, including marketing automation (Hubspot) and analytics tools (GA4). Ensure seamless integration, data accuracy, and efficient processes. 
    • Develop and maintain thorough documentation for marketing technology processes, data flow, and system integrations.
    • Create and maintain platform-specific reporting as it relates to Marketing Key Results and/or to drive meaningful insights regarding usage or optimization of our platforms.
    • Develop and drive alignment with Marketing leadership on the short-term and long-term roadmap of the marketing technology stack and how that best aligns to executional strategy and goals.
    • Train and onboard internal teams on efficient technology usage, change management and evangelize best practices.
  • Support Marketing leaders in the definition and implementation of impactful, multi-channel marketing campaigns across different funnels and customer journeys.
    • Work with our Business Intelligence team to create and maintain marketing dashboards specifically geared toward campaign performance and trend identification in go-to-market and business intelligence tools.
    • Surface actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Sales and CS Ops to ensure seamless lead routing and handoffs, and gain insights into areas for improvement for internal teams and / or customers.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years working in a Marketing Operations role
  • Strong project and program management skills. 
  • Ability to lead by influence in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Hubspot and GA4 experience required, some Salesforce.com experience  preferred
  • Passionate about continuous improvement, process documentation, and delivery excellence 
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate key insights from data
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Mode, Tableau or PowerBI
  • Experience with Marketing campaigns for product-led growth motions and sales / customer success funnels
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
