Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's and/or master's in design, Human Factors, Psychology, and/or related field highly preferred

Conversational English

• 6 to 8 years of proven experience conducting/leading User research efforts.

• 6+ years of creating UX design or UI design.

• 5+ years working in fast-paced, blended competency environments.

• Expertise in creating visual elements with strong attention to detail and visual aesthetics.

• Expertise in developing wireframes and prototypes.

• Expertise in design thinking, double diamond, UCD, and other design principles.

• Expertise using design software Figma and Adobe suite.

• Expertise using research and testing tools like Optimal Workshop, Pendo, Qualtrics, MUIQ, Hotjar, etc.

• Familiarity with the product development process.

• Familiarity with how common programming languages affect design decisions.

• Familiarity with using Project management software.

• Must possess a curious mindset, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong sense of accountability.

Desirable:

Expertise in DesignOps

NNG or equivalent certifications

Previous experience in Clinical or Medical work environments

The Role:

• Ability to design and execute qualitative and quantitative research using different methods and techniques based on project goals and timelines.

• Ability to uncover and investigate unmet User needs (e.g., ethnographic research, journey mapping, heuristic evaluations, usability studies, etc.)

• Ability to facilitate group and 1-on-1 interviews (e.g., facilitation skills, active listening, remote & in-person testing, etc.)

• Ability to help teams design meaningful and usable solutions (e.g., lead ideation and conceptualization sessions, facilitate design studios, etc.)

• Ability to create clean, modern, UI designs based on complex business requirements.

• Ability to understand and ascertain business drivers and provide design or research consultation to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to understand research insights and articulate findings into actionable data.

• Ability to challenge traditional assumptions and share new directions and technologies to mature the UX competency.

• Ability to delegate responsibilities and mentor others.
