What Experience Designers do
? Employ a range of human-centered techniques (personas, user flows, content audits and wireframes) to determine design decisions.
? Create accessible interaction modules, screen layouts, pattern libraries, images, icons and other visual elements for experiences.
? Gather and assess experience requirements for new or enhanced products.
? Use?quantitative and qualitative data; ensure content decisions are?informed by real user needs and influence human behavior.
? Create end-to-end?digital experiences that are accessible,?inclusive and compliant, meeting business, technical and user needs.
? Engage with experience design peers to ensure artifacts and deliverables accurately represent and align to our One U.S. Bank vision.

? Formally observe user interviews and usability sessions.
? Practice reusability; leverage or expand the Shield Design System/platform capabilities.
? Work in an Agile environment, which includes planning epics, writing sprint stories and participating in regular Agile ceremonies.
? Become adept at using Agile tools like Jira and Confluence. Higher levels will contribute to sizing and scoping work for the team.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferred emphasis on Service Design, Experience Architecture or Information Architecture), or equivalent experience
- 8 years of related work experience, such as UX or digital industry
- Deep proficiency with Figma
- Proficient product management, product and experience design or similar experience
- Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills/Experience
Thorough knowledge of user experience (UX) best practices, interactive design principles, information architecture and experience architecture; Service Design knowledge a plus
Familiarization with workshop and co-creations
Thorough knowledge of website architecture, interactive design principles, and web usability
Experience/familiarity with CSS and responsive design
Experience working in a cross-channel environment, including desktop, mobile and voice; internal facing systems experience a plus.
Experience collaborating with large teams and ability to problem-solve and work independently?
