Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled SMART PLANT 3D Piping Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years of experience in the design and modeling of piping systems using Hexagon Smart Plant 3D software. The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed piping designs, ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support various projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• S3D Piping & Equipment Modelling for onshore & Offshore Oil & Gas projects.
• S3D Structural Modelling for onshore & Offshore Oil & Gas projects.
• Design & Drafting Layouts for Equipment, Piping & Civil disciplines.
• Strong understanding of Piping materials, specifications, and Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards.
• Basic Knowledge of MicroStation.
• Interpret and implement piping specifications, P&IDs, and project standards.
• Create detailed 3D models of piping systems, including pipe routing, supports, and related components.
• Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts using Smart Plant 3D.
• Generate isometric and PPL, material take-offs, and bill of materials.
• Ensure that all drawings generated comply with SAES standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Piping Engineers, Process Engineers, Site Engineers, Instrumentation engineers, and other stakeholders including Customers to ensure accurate and complete models.
• Update and maintain S3D databases, ensuring all modifications are tracked and documented.
• Support project team with estimations, design reviews and other studies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior designers and other team members.
• Create or Update drawings/models as per redline markups received.
• Generating ISO using Drawings & Reports.
• Following the Quality check list defined for self QC before delivery.
• Convert generated deliverables in PDF. Extract drawing report.

• Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Piping design using Smart Plant 3D software.
• Proficiency in Smart Plant 3D software and other relevant design tools.
• Excellent technical drawing and drafting skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
