Role: Techno Functional BA- Investment Operations(IMS/West)

Work Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid)

Job Description:

Client is seeking a technical business analyst to support the Trade Processing Systems Team in our Irvine, CA office. The candidate will work on enhancements for the DNS (Delivery Notification System) application for our monthly software releases and new applications for various clients. Responsibilities will include gathering business requirements, analyzing the requirements, writing specifications for developers, creation of test plans and system integration testing according to Client's published Development Process Framework. This job will also require production support, monitoring of our systems during peak business volumes and quickly reacting to business needs while coordinating with technical staff to resolve technical issues.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as IT Business analyst

• Prior experience working in Capital Markets with Asset Management / Investment Banking organization knowledge preferred

• Complete understanding of trade life cycle

• Experience with all phases of the SDLC

• Advanced knowledge of SQL: Sybase preferred

• Demonstrated ability to work well with different business users and stakeholders groups

• Gathering business requirements and writing functional specification documents

• Experience with multiple testing approaches functional, regressions, integration and user testing

• Ability to coordinate with onshore/offshore developers

• Data mapping skills

• Gap/Comparative analysis

• Report analysis

Nice to have Skills:

• Basic knowledge of UNIX is a plus

• Basic understanding of XML is a plus

• Basic knowledge of SWIFT standards

The potential compensation for this role is based on labor costs in local markets, as well as the job-related skills, knowledge, and experience of the candidate. Expected annual pay for this role ranges from [$60,000] to [$135,000]. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits and additional compensation offerings, including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options as well as potential incentive or variable compensation.
