Job Overview
The role of incumbent would be to identify and evaluate risks and threats to assigned sites from time to time and implement security risk mitigation strategies including employment of resources i.e. Manpower and equipment, in line with Company's Security Policy, Global best practices and Security Standards.
Incumbent d will be responsible for judicious deployment of the resources, plan and conduct supervision by supervisory and security staff at site and respond to all emergencies and untoward occurrences reported/identified at the premises or in the vicinity of the premises, which may have potential to affecting business operations and / or the premises.

He/She will be the strategic head of the unit and would spear head the location from strategic over view. He/She shall be over all responsible for the performance of the unit
Roles & Responsibilities:

- To assist Location Security Head in Conducting Security Risk Assessments and Vulnerability assessments for Existing & Proposed Sites with on ground inputs.
- Assist business in raising Policy Exceptions as required; conduct assessments to ensure risks associated with the exceptions have been addressed adequately.
- Support Project Management of Security Systems ensuring delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of security equipment as per Wipro policy.
- Conduct Security related investigations as directed and make incident reports Ensure appropriate and timely entry of incidents and reports into Perspective.
- Ensure that security equipment (e.g., CCTV, card access, alarms, etc.) grid is intact with correct escalation tree marking and adhering to CIA triad and response cycle.
- Supervision and manage staff, including 24-7 escalation support to the intelligence and operational desks;
- Management of Security Executives and Specialists including professional development, appraisals, performance reviews and objective setting
- Spear Head and Support security audits, investigation and security pre-alerts. Assist Location Security Head in Carrying out regular security performance reviews of team (including off-role and contractual key staff) to ensure we deliver value to the company and internal/ external customers and auditors by providing the most reliable and efficient security solutions adhering to Wipro
- Responsible for the standard of delivery across core security services, including underpinning assessments and advice, case management, consulting delivery, operational planning and incident response, according to agreed priorities, SLA's and SOP with the appropriate balance of effort between longer-term developments and current events.
- Responsible for carrying out penetrations tests and managing Location security posture
- Assist the LSH in coordinating appointment of ERT members & Fire Wardens trough effective ERT trainings.
- Support Project Management of Fire Safety Systems ensuring delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of fire safety equipment.
- Oversee and Conduct of Fire drills, Evacuation drills, Mock drills.
- Assist the LSH in maintaining updated Fire Safety Evacuation Plans.
- Participate in the, exercise or execution of the crisis management plan as necessary.
- Ensure security alerts reach till Location Security Head so that same can be provided to organizational units / leadership and prepare in developing a response.
- Maintain awareness of the regional security situation through monitoring internal and external sources as well as maintaining relationships with internal regional experts and Security command center.
- Assist and actively participate in Crisis management table top discussions and scenario response and represent function in common gatherings.
- Ensure compliance of the unit to various security Compliance Policies on behalf of the Location Security Head.
- Provide Audit Assurance support to business for security related matters with well laid out execution plan.
- Ensure training of Fire Wardens, ERT members, Security Personnel & New Joiners.
- Assist the LSH in managing expenses for the AOR.
- Liaising with Law enforcement Authorities, Fire services and Local Security forums and chapters by active contribution.
- Ensure PASARA Compliance.
- Monitor Security personnel and compliances related to manpower guarding as per local law of the land. Carry out background checks and documents of screening for Guards and security vendor staff.
- Ensure guards are adequately trained and meet quality specified in the Security Policy, SOP and contract document.
- Conduct spot checks on guards and security system vendors to ensure performance.
- Ensure other security related vendors such as cash in transit and alarm monitoring center service providers comply the security operating procedures and policies.
- Support the Location security Head in sourcing for cost effective security systems and services solutions through central team to reduce security expenses.
- To keep check on vendor performance and Provide inputs on security vendor performance for the purpose of vendor selection and contract
Experience, Education and Certifications:
- Overall 15+ yrs of experience
- Minimum 7 years experience in Corporate Security Industry.
- Master's degree in security management / professional security certification (CPP etc.) or minimum 8 years or equivalent in Military (Commissioned officer, min Captain / Major equivalent)/ Paramilitary / Law Enforcement etc.
- Experience in Physical security management of large campus with more than 20000 employees, engaging more than 300 guards and 500 + CCTV cameras and access control points.
Knowledge and Skills
- Conduct all source collection and research, analyze, evaluate and integrate data from multiple sources, identify intelligence gaps, and specify collection requirements, to produce assessments and recommendations.
- Apply highly developed inductive reasoning skills to provide a proactive approach to potential threats.
- Prepare analyses, assessments, or other products by applying expert judgment and specialized experience in interpreting information and making decisions.
- Prepare and present briefings on projects, studies and analyses to functional managers.
- Discerns patterns of complex behavior; provides accurate understanding of present and future threats.
- Provide analysis to guide decision makers.
- Provide critical front-line intelligence support to operational personnel.
- Extract essential information and analysis from investigations and intelligence products and synthesizes the information into actionable reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and report writing skills.
- Comfortable and confident to work and deliver unsupervised at the same time willing to take on additional work responsibilities and stand in for team members as required, demonstrating dependability.
