Primary Skill: Network security Engineer, Firewall Compliance and Network Audit

Role: Senior Project Engineer/Associate Technical consultant

Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad

Job Description:

Proven 6 to 8 years of experience in designing, implementing, managing Firewall (Fortigate/Palo Alto/Cisco ASA) in Enterprise environments.

Performing management, and monitoring of firewall configuration and policies.
Post implementation review of addition or modification of firewall rules / security policies as per business requirement and firewall standard practices.
Interact and escalate with Firewall assurance vendor for any issues and support tickets. Monitor, detect, investigate and resolve security configuration related issues.
Maintain secure configurations on firewalls via Firewall assurance module.

Ensure compliance with security standard and best practices for Firewall deployment.

Ensure efficiency and efficacy of deployed network security controls across the corporate network.

Familiar with risk management and compliance concepts, ensure security policies and procedures are followed across the organization.

Work closely with other IT and security teams to contribute towards overall IT security.

Good knowledge of network protocols, firewall, VPN, IPS, and other security technologies.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with automation and scripting for security operations will be an added advantage.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.

6 to 8 years of experience in network security and cloud security engineering.

Familiarity with regular regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST GDPR is preferred.

Relevant certifications in the field of cyber security are highly desirable.
