Role Purpose

Senior Partners are expected to have primarily responsibility for developing and managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, capturing and converting premium consulting opportunities into sustainable engagements, improving maturity of consulting services and contributing to growth and development for Wipro. This role has leadership responsibilities across for one or more specific practice/vertical/client account of significant scale, they drive sales, consulting delivery, growth and people development for their units. The Senior Partner must achieve personal billability at high fee rates

• Build strong and utilizable relationships across client organisations and Wipro. Recognised as an industry leader and expert
• Manages the group to ensure there is the right balance of solution/development/IP/business development and delivery capability
• Collaborates with other practices and builds bespoke propositions from understanding of offerings and client business
• Stimulates demand for solutions by adding fresh insight or customising to meeting evolving client/market needs
• Cognizant of and applies industry best practices and standards in consulting delivery teams
• Ensures high level of individual/group/practice utilisation in line with the levels expected as part of the goal setting process.
• Directs larger sales activities, bids and proposals
• Sponsors sales initiatives, campaigns and events and ensures adequate marketing and prospecting activities to populate sales funnel
• Ensures that all Wipro consulting proposals and work deliver impact to the clients. Ensures the practice(s) have an adequate pipeline to support business targets and conducts regular reviews to ensure pipeline and sales are progressing at pace
• Focuses on building and maintaining an effective client relationship network across the client organisations
• Ensures revenue results for the group are driven and achieved as committed
• Develops business plans and strategy to ensure the success and growth of specified consulting businesses. Ensures growth in business advisory and consulting capabilities. Establishes a consulting presence in accordance with strategic plan for the unit
• Coordinates planning and sales efforts in conjunction with the mega/gamma account teams, and regional sales teams, to ensure all clients have a consulting presence

• Recognised as an industry thought leader and broad thinker with views and opinions on current and emerging trends and how they impact various businesses. Sponsors the development of thought leadership. and IP across the practice(s) Provides governance around the thought leadership development process and provides assurance on its relevance and marketability. Ensures Wipro,s consulting capabilities and insights are widely recognised in external forums. Actively speaks in external forums and represents Wipro and Consulting' as a brand ambassador
• Builds a team of though leaders who can develop and deliver solutions that can be taken to market. Ensures thought leadership is utilized externally and generates sales opportunities
• Continually delivers all Wipro admin in a timely manner (timesheets, appraisals expenses, etc.,) Provides governance and assurance over system to manage internal initiatives to the benefit of the practice. Evangelizes the importance of innovation and IP creation
• Holds people accountable for leveraging IP and knowledge assets from the central knowledge repository of Wipro and GCG and promotes reuse
• Ensures the practice engagement teams effectively contribute tools, methods and assets, information sources and IP to the knowledge management platform. Encourages the team to create and share IP, PoV/White papers, represents the company at strategic industry and analyst conferences
• Ensures the practice has a process market relevant capabilities and service offerings into sales opportunities. Provides governance around the recruitment pipeline to support future business and new capabilities and service offerings. Builds active partnerships including, but not limited to solution providers, alliance partners, and analysts. Participates in industry or solution related networking organisation presents papers, serves on committees, etc., Manages team targets and goals in line with practice plan
