Job Description

Job Role:

Global Security Risk and Intelligence Analysist - Team Leader reports to the Senir Manager - Global Security Risk and Intelligence. The TL will be responsible for one of the operational regions of Wipro - APAC/EMEA/AMERICAS and will be a subject matter expert in all security and geopolitical challenges arising in these areas. The TL will ensure delivery of core operational tasks through a team of analysts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Security risk monitoring, analysis, forecasting and impact assessment of risks including geopolitical developments, natural calamities, protests, and social unrest etc. for allocated geographical region.

• Develop and provide subject matter expertise for security and geopolitical issues for the allocated geographical region

• Preparing and delivering detailed analyses, risk reports and briefs targeted at different levels of the organization including timely release of security advisory for employees

• Escalate location security incidents to respective security heads for timely resolution.

• Utilize command centre intelligence tools and platforms for risk monitoring and reporting.

• Updating emergency response plans for high-risk geographies with stakeholder mapping, employee manifest and contact details

• Supervising team of GSCC Analysts and ensuring continued GSCC operations including the 24x7 employee helpline, security system alarm resolution and escalation

• Provide response to employee queries on security and travel issues

• Maintain operational relationships with multiple internal stakeholders

• Provide travel risk management support by reviewing travel requests to high risk zones, providing necessary security advisories and on-ground support recommendations where required.

• Conduct preliminary research to support new business initiatives by assessing security environments and highlighting operational challenges in new growth markets.

• Liaising and collaborating with external organisations/threat intelligence vendors and building partnerships to strengthen security risk capability and crisis response.

• Ensuring internal process timelines, SLAs and compliance with established industry and organisational standards.

• Generation of intelligence reports, forecasts, analysis, travel advisories and security risk statements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Five years' experience in security intelligence, geopolitical risk or relevant experience in complex work environments.

• Advanced degree in international relations, political science, security studies or related fields preferred.

• Experience in operations of Security Command Centre.

• Experience in supporting Security Risk and Intelligence operations in at least 1 of the following regions - APAC/ Americas / EMEA.

• Experience in engaging with internal and external stakeholders including a diverse international audience.

• Experience in team management is preferable

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including 24x7 on-call availability on a rotational basis
