Canada is seeking an experienced Sales Leader to manage and expand a cluster of our accounts local to the region, lead the existing sales team, both hunting and farming and oversee delivery and operations across all accounts aligned to the Geography. The role will report to the Country Head and Managing Director for Canada.

The role will be measured on growth and profitability. S/he will review the current market strategy and operations structure, and drive changes as appropriate to grow and scale the business. More specifically, s/he will look to realize operational synergies across the business as well as grow key accounts leveraging the full Wipro platform of solutions.
The individual in this role will bring to bear their significant industry experience along with geographical nuances, strong industry executive level client and partnership relationships, and a deep understanding of current and future strategic trends within the Canadian marketplace, to bring immediate client credibility. Candidate preference would be for an Industry leader with good experience across Canadian markets.
There will be a team reporting directly/indirectly into this leader including account managers, sales executives, pre sales, solutions and delivery Teams who will partner with the Leader to ensure world class delivery and execution. This role will be based in Toronto, Canada.
This individual will have an opportunity to make a significant impact for the Canadian Geography and Wipro.
The leader will be responsible for building/growing the portfolio, and will hold the key responsibility for:
- Managing and growing existing and new client relationships.
- Driving the P&L, with a focus on profitable commercial growth, service portfolio expansion, and joint market opportunities.
- Managing/mentoring, retaining, and recruiting a high-performance team of direct and indirect/matrixed leaders across sales, client management, delivery, marketing, finance, and HR to ensure Wipro delivers strong differentiated value to clients to drive profitable growth and market share
- Developing a strategy for addressing the market requirements. The strategic plan should clearly craft out the differentiated solution offerings, investment in teams and capabilities, and projection of financial results.
- Creating a strong Wipro market position and increase the market/brand awareness of Wipro within the Canadian geography.
- Leading sales and innovation efforts to increase the top-line revenue, reduce costs, and increase operating margins;
- Aggressively growing the existing portfolio and attain pre-set Wipro revenue targets while proactively building new relationships in functional areas where there is currently limited scope
- Leading certain key customer pitches and business development opportunities and establish a superior industry leading, win track-record.
- Originating, qualifying and closing large / transformational services engagements.
- Defining and directing Partnerships and Alliances strategy
- Strong sales process management.
- Providing thought leadership in the industry segment
- Experience: 20 - 25 years of leadership experience within a professional services or advisory services organization with a demonstrable track record of delivering results. A company builder - a transformational leader who can guide the organization to the "next level", with a strategic understanding of the professional services industry
- Driving the business strategy; building the ecosystem for revenue generation; and a strong track record of growth will be critical pre-requisites for the role.
- A deep customer-centric approach is a critical must-have, and the leader will have a proven track record of growing accounts or practices, meeting or exceeding revenue, profitability, customer, and employee satisfaction targets.
- Should have worked for Best in Class Organization's, with a strong personal track record
- P&L responsibility: Minimum USD 200 million
