Job Description
Quality Engineering Transformation Leader is a pivotal role within the Application Engineering & DevOps theme responsible for client's Quality Engineering & Testing transformation initiatives aligned with application engineering & digital roadmap.
• Quality Engineering Transformation Leader is responsible to drive Quality Engineering & Testing Transformation for complete client engagement or for a large program in that customer engagement.

• He/She will work with customer stakeholders responsible for quality, customers may have separate quality organization or part of application or IT Ops organization.
• Be able to articulate and passionately present quality engineering concepts to senior stakeholders internal and client, bridge old and new.
• Spot opportunities where we can apply QET transformation as a part of current work or by creating new business opportunities.
• Work with Wipro testing delivery teams, CoE teams, Business Unit teams and leadership team to plan, govern, measure and deliver transformation outcomes.
• Should be able to think about the solutions that addresses Strategic transformation needs as well as technical requirements
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
You'll be able to demonstrate detailed experience of creating quality engineering and testing transformation roadmaps and strategies for clients at program, function or enterprise
• Over 15 years of extensive experience in working with multi-skilled testing teams (Manual, Automation, Non-Functional, Digital testing, Test Data, Test Tools, Test Environments etc.) and other roles on a project - developers, Designers, scrum master, DevOps and infrastructure teams
• An ability to work with clients in a consultative way; helping them derive quality objectives from IT objectives aligned with business roadmap.
• Introducing modern testing practices aimed at increasing velocity such continuous testing, in-sprint automation, service virtualization, shift-left, early performance testing and new age testing tools aligned with Agile and CI/CD. SAFE, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) would be highly desirable.
• Strong understanding (experience is preferred) on TDD, BDD, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, various testing tools and testing approaches (e.g. Mobile, Content, Accessibility, Usability, AI/ML etc.)
• Encourages learning environment with robust skill transformation approach such as SDET, I-T-X
• Ability to create a framework to measure current baseline, plan future state and lays down the roadmap and plan to achieve goals with milestones associated with business value and cost benefits.
• Experience with Test reporting, testing metrics, testing dashboards and benefit/value realizations. Experience with Tableau and Grafana would be good to have.
• Lead multiple test leads and test manager to achieve transformation as per plan along with their BAU work
• An entrepreneurial drive, with the ability to deconstruct and solve problems, to investigate drivers and figure out why things happen and does not happen
• Follow through a cycle of: Proposal - Demo- Proof Concept - implementation - value realization
• Proven ability to build strong relationship across stakeholder groups with the ability to effectively influence and communicate across various business lines and units and at senior levels within the organization.
• Good listening skills, ability to ask questions and probe to uncover issues
• Ability to negotiate and shape a deal including understanding pricing and risk
• Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
• Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills of the role.
