Wipro is looking for a Project Manager - ESG with previous experience in the Insurance domain working on large IT programmes / projects for ESG. This is a new role which will be at the heart of the growth agenda for the organisation. The role will have a primary focus on ESG IT project management and stakeholder engagement.

As a Project Manager - ESG you will be a part of the Insurance Practice where we help insurance companies transform the way they do business through digital powered customer experience & analytics/cognition enabled business transformation. Our transformation consulting framework enables modernization & complete digitalization of insurance organization. Leading practices include - Sales & Distribution Transformation, POS Transformation, Underwriting Transformation, Claims Transformation

Purpose of the Role:

You will be responsible to define the IT architecture and roadmap and conduct gap analysis to enable the identification of new change requirements. Execute complex projects with both IT delivery and change management.

Your Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager - ESG you will be responsible for/to:

  • IT Architecture and roadmap definition for ESG strategy
  • Gap analysis to enable identification of new change requirements
  • Manage complex programmes of work with multiple interrelated change budgets, spanning multiple business units and markets for our client
  • Plan and conduct workshops
  • Stakeholder management and engagement, complex senior stakeholder group mainly Director+ level
  • Apply core project management disciplines - planning, issue/risk management, chasing down actions, reporting etc.
  • Work with strategic outsource providers as and when required
  • Application of the client change disciplines and standard governance framework
  • Business engagement and bring people together to seek out mutually beneficial solutions and approaches to issues or problem areas

Mandatory Skills/Experience:

  • Experienced project manager with Insurance / Life Insurance domain experience
  • IT Architecture and roadmap definition and gap analysis
  • Knowledge of ESG strategies
  • Demonstrable programme leadership with experience of managing complex programmes
  • Ability to drive projects independently
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum and Kanban, Jira and Confluence
