Position: Project Manager- EDI
Job Responsibilities
As Project Manager the candidate will be accountable for delivering multiple concurrent IT projects. In this role they will collaborate with multiple cross functional teams across IT and Operations to lead the planning and execution of projects. To be successful in the role the candidate will need to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Project Management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile & Hybrid). Candidates must be highly self-motivated and engaged with respect to leading diverse project teams that will deliver projects in a timely manner with a high degree of quality.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead projects engaging business teams, external government contacts and vendors.
• Facilitate and contribute to the development of program or project scope statements with applicable stakeholders (e.g., program/project charter, Statement of Work, Business Vision Document)
• Identify project duration, effort, sequence, and dependencies of tasks required to meet applicable project objectives
• Monitor and document project milestones and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to established quality standards
• Develop, communicate and implement programs and project risk/issue management plans and strategies
• Develop and implement contingency and recovery plans when deliverables are missed (e.g., identify critical path, document, and plan for getting back on project schedule)
• Collects and analyzes detailed project requirements and develops functional specifications
• Creates, monitors, and updates project plans for projects, keeping team members informed

Required Qualifications:
• 8+ years of project management experience
• 8+ years of experience planning, scheduling and tracking projects in Microsoft Project and Excel
• 8+ years utilizing the ability to influence without authority
• Proven written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Visio, creating process flow & mind mapping
• Intermediate level skills with PowerPoint creating and presenting to stakeholders and senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
• Scrum Master/Agile Practitioner
• PMP Certification
• Managed Care Experience
• Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to leadership
