Role: Project Manager (Commercial Bank/Treasury Management)

Work Location: Hybrid (Mount Laurel, NJ)

Job description:
  • The Project Manager candidate is familiar with banking and payments and will ideally have commercial banking and treasury domain experience. The role requires a product focus with the ability to understand the current state, related customer experiences, and operations. The current efforts are dynamic and require a project manager who can prioritize the features and capabilities and the ability to be flexible and quickly pivot to new requirements.
  • The candidate has advanced knowledge of plan development and execution, scope planning, schedule management, cost estimating and control, quality planning assurance, organizational planning, project communications, risk identification/ response control, and management.
  • The candidate demonstrates expert knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (multiple methods), resource management practices, and organizational change management techniques.
  • While not exhaustive, examples of products and services within scope include:
    • Commercial card feature expansion, focused on large corporations, focused on tokenization, virtualization, and analysis of business adjudicated cards.
    • Focus on payment products such as positive pay, ACH offerings, RTP, expanding wire cutoffs
    • Automated client onboarding to improve client and customer experience.
    • Creation of small business treasury product bundles.
Required Skills:
  • Customer and Product Experience a plus, with Commercial Bank Experience in Treasury Management, preferred (Commercial Card, Payments, New to Bank Customer Onboarding)
  • Develop detailed project plans to manage the end-to-end project activities, interdependencies, and execution approach.
  • Create timelines, understand scope, risk, and dependencies, and track them.
  • Define purpose, clear roles, tasks, milestones, budgets, and measures of success.
  • Knowledge of industry risks and regulations/compliance/controls
  • Builds credibility, establishes rapport, and maintains communication with stakeholders at multiple levels, including those external to the organization, such as vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders of varying levels in the org
  • Knowledge of both waterfall and agile processes and tools (ex., Jira, MS Project)
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, schedules, and budgeted costs.
  • Build and foster a collaborative working environment amongst project team members.
  • PMP Certification a Plus
The potential compensation for this role is based on labor costs in local markets, as well as the job-related skills, knowledge, and experience of the candidate. Expected base pay for this role ranges from [$80,000] to [$158,000]. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits and additional compensation offerings, including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options as well as potential incentive or variable compensation.
