Role Description

Job Summary:

This role involves end-to-end software development and lifecycle management, focused on Polarion ALM tool from Siemens and will involve some amount of customizations and integrations to meet business needs.

Skills & Experiences required:
  • Good understanding of SDLC Processes and all the ALM phases.
  • Executing projects with End-To-End Software Development Lifecycle using an Agile or Waterfall Methodology, including Software Source Control, Defect Tracking, Testing, Requirements Management.
  • Extensive hands-on experience on developing Polarion customizations such as workflow automations, trigger scripts, custom LiveReports development, macros development, etc.
  • Extensive hands-on experience on Core Java and REST APIs based integrations development.
  • Good understanding of ALM tool from Siemens Polarion as an End User, Power User (configurator) and Customizations development.
  • Basic understanding of OSLC APIs & OSLC based integrations
  • Applying SDK/APIs understanding to developing integrations
  • Technical ownership of ALM end-to-end solution.
  • Building and implementing solutions with ALM tools with latest Industry trends and best practices
  • Interact closely with business users and extract the business requirements based on their pain areas and convert it into Data Model.
  • Conduct UATs and Integration testing
