• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a SQL tuning expert

• Lead efforts to optimize performance through indexing, SQL query optimization, and other database tuning techniques

• Monitor database performance metrics, analyze and identify bottlenecks, and recommend short-term and long-term solutions

• Extensive troubleshooting and tuning skills and analyzing the diagnostic reports AWR, ADDM and ASH.

• OGG setups and configurations

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proactive mindset in mitigating/avoiding foreseeable issues.

• Field experience in supporting critical production workloads.

• knowledge of Oracle Exadata architecture including Database Machines, Storage Cells, networking, and database functionality specific to Exadata.
