Job Description

  1. Be a Network security analyst and provide First line of defense to the organization.
  2. Implement / assess security baselines for Network security solutions.
  3. Perform security reviews and identify security gaps in security architecture / tools resulting in recommendations for inclusion in the risk mitigation strategy.
  4. Monitor and Evaluate System's compliance with Information technology security resilience, and dependability requirements.
  5. Assess the effectiveness of security controls to ensure compliance with organizational security policies and procedures, standards, and security requirements applicable to the system.
  6. Work closely with IT team, corporate functions, Legal & Business Team by highlighting importance of the security practices and control and guide them in remediation of gaps identified
  7. Understand the vulnerabilities from alerts, advisories and bulletins for Network security and govern the remedial actions.
  8. Document the findings from security assessments and report them to the stakeholders.

  1. Hands-on experience in network security technologies Such as Next Gen Firewalls, Proxy, IDS / IPS, DDOS, Antimalware protection, DNS Security, VPN Security, Cloud Firewalls (E.g., NSG)
  2. Working Knowledge of network security architecture concepts including topology, protocols, components, and principles (e.g., application of defense-in-depth).
  3. Should have working experience in Network security assessment tools like Skybox
  4. Should have working experience in Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure or GCP
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Should have strong business communication skills.
  6. 4+ years of relevant experience with 5+ years of overall experience in cybersecurity
  7. Preferred to have certification such as CISSP, CEH

Contribution to Practice/Wipro
• Continually delivers all Wipro admin in a timely manner (timesheets, appraisals expenses, etc.,)

• Contributes to the IP and knowledge management of Wipro and GCG and ensures its availability on the central knowledge management repository or Wipro and GCG
