Location : Mexico (HYBRID )
Role Description:
Monitor network infrastructure using network monitoring tools
Perform the duties of a Network Engineers part of Managed services
Follow ITIL practices as part of managed service delivery
Resolve incidents related to Cisco network/Wireless infrastructure and/or Palo
Alto SDWAN/Firewall
Coordinate with End users, IT users as part network troubleshooting.
Coordinate with external vendors for TAC and trouble tickets.
Coordinate with Smart hands vendors for RMA and break-fix related issues.
Utilize Knowledge base available in the system to resolve issues
Adherence to defined process and guidance required by project.
Perform timely escalation of incidents to next level as per the defined SL.A
Experience in Palo Alto SDWAN and Firewall and/or any vendor technology including Cisco
could be included or trained
Experience in managing network infrastructure with minimum of 500 network elements
Experience in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MP-BGP etc.
Experience in ITIL framework and ITSM tools and ticketing process
Good experience in network monitoring tools, protocols such as SNMP, SSH, Syslog etc.
Good understanding on Firewalls and overall concepts.
Good understanding on passive infrastructure including cabling, racks, P0Us DC HVAC
Excellent communication skills and vendor management skills
