Location and Work Mode:

  • Hybrid module of work from Warsaw- 2 days from home and 3 days from the office.
  • Working hours: 2pm - 10pm
  • Contract of Employment

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide L3 DBA support for MS SQL servers. Administer MS SQL servers.
  • Perform troubleshooting and performance tuning on MS SQL database servers used by ICG applications.
  • Hands on experience with administrating MS SQL 2012, MS SQL 2016 & MS SQL 2019
  • Hands on experience on Always on, DB Mirroring, Replication & High availability.
  • Migration to newer versions or platforms.
  • Testing & Implementation of Features Enhancement in Higher MSSQL versions.
  • Mitigate risks in accordance with business requirements.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server administration and management and in-depth understanding of MS SQL Server architecture and components
  • Experience in configuring and maintaining MS SQL Server instances
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving complex MS SQL database issues and ability to conduct performance tuning and optimization for MS SQL database servers
  • Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server 2012, 2016, and 2019
  • Proficiency in managing and supporting different versions of MS SQL Server
  • Knowledge of version-specific features and enhancements
  • Expertise in implementing and managing high availability solutions such as Always On, Database Mirroring, and Replication in MS SQL Server
  • Experience in designing and maintaining disaster recovery strategies for MS SQL databases
  • Experience in migrating MS SQL databases to newer versions or platforms and knowledge of best practices for upgrading MS SQL Server versions
  • Proficiency in testing and implementing feature enhancements in higher versions of MS SQL Server and experience in evaluating new features and functionalities in MS SQL Server releases
  • English on at least B2 Level
  • Higer Diploma - Engineering or Computer Science preferred
