The role

We are looking for a motivated and talented System Engineer, who is passionate about technology and helps us to run a highly secure, scalable and automated "Managed File Transfer" Platform.

This profile is responsible for the operations, engineering and integration of all business,- corporate services using our platform. We are 'T-shaped' engineers with international team set-up located in Spain and Switzerland. We take full responsibilities for our actions, operate and deliver great solutions !

The team is the hub when it comes to Managed File Transfer competences. As a Middleware Engineer you will set up and maintain file transfer connections for internal and external customers and ensure data travels through channels and processes efficiently. You will be responsible for delivering high quality production and test platform, supporting regular agile releases.

What you will do

  • Be a part of a specialized team that operates and enhances the MFT Platform.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows using infrastructure as code
  • Provides daily interaction with business partners, external partners and DevOps teams to solve problems in MFT process flows
  • Build-up and transfer interdisciplinary knowledge

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of working knowledge with Managed File Transfer concepts and various file transfer protocols (SFTP, Connect:Direct)
  • Proficient with PKI, SSL and SSH security implementations
  • Proficient with Linux OS and scripting skills such as Perl, Python, Go, etc
  • Demonstrated experience in network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP), network security, and firewall configurations.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Communicative team-player with good self-management capabilities
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative in identifying and resolving issues
  • Proficient with English both verbal and in writing
