Position Overview: Seeking a highly experienced Managing Consultant with over 15 years of expertise in IT Transformation and Sales within the Retail Industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the entire retail value chain, including Logistics & Supply Chain, Strategy & Planning, Merchandising, Store Operations, Marketing, and Consumer Experience. Thorough knowledge of Point of Sales (PoS) systems, with experience in implementing at least 2 or 3 PoS systems for retailers. This role requires a strong grasp of the latest trends in the retail industry and a proven track record in retail IT system implementations and transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage IT Retail Helpdesk programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering measurable results.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of the retail value chain to provide strategic consulting and innovative solutions.
  • Oversee the implementation of retail IT systems, including Point of Sales (PoS) systems, Planning & Forecasting, Merchandising Systems, and more.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key account leaders to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of retail IT solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership and stay updated on industry trends to continuously enhance service offerings.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in IT transformation and sales within the retail industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the retail value chain and experience in handling Global Helpdesk programs for CPG / Retail Clients.
  • Proven experience in implementing retail IT systems and strong knowledge of the latest trends in the retail industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to design innovative sales proposals and strategies.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.

  • Experience in managing large-scale transformation projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and guide junior consultants.
