Role : BA with Mainframe

Location; Irving, Texas

1. Mainframe basics: should be able to understand the mainframe terminologies and navigate in mainframe to look into sar reports / Files for validation and effective requirements handling. Understanding of Job dependencies and file hand-offs.
2. Accounting Basics : Debit / Credit GL Posting , GL Types , Recon. Tracing back to the original posting when there is a GL break.
3. Data Skills : Understanding of data transformation and data lineage (would be preferred)

Others :

• Act as a liaison between Business and Development teams
• Organize and host requirements meetings/sessions with business
• Create business requirements document including data specifications based on Excel prototype, sample data and formulas
• Organize and host requirements walkthroughs with Business, Development and Testing
• Provide support/clarifications to Development and Testing team on inquiries on requirements
• Create test cases based on business requirements document
• Log JIRAs/bugs in JIRA if any defects arise
• Walk through test results with PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) for business
• Validate the Use cases created by the testing team and follow through on the test execution.
