Location and Work Mode:

  • Working hours 9 am - 5 pm
  • Flexible with shifts and on-call support over the weekends or weekdays according to the schedule
  • Hybrid work from Warsaw - 3 days from office and 2 days from home
  • Employment contract

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the administration of Linux-based systems and servers, leveraging 3-5 years of experience in a Linux administration role.
  • Communicate effectively in English to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Linux administration, including performing OS upgrades in complex environments, encompassing both VM and physical environments, and various firmware upgrade procedures.
  • Utilize knowledge of OS compliance tools to set them up and ensure system adherence to compliance standards.
  • Configure and troubleshoot HBA and NIC load balancing to optimize system performance and reliability.
  • Execute OS installation and configuration tasks to maintain a stable and efficient system environment.
  • Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports to identify and address system issues and improve overall performance.
  • Handle customer interactions with professionalism and utilize excellent communication skills to address their needs and concerns.
  • Utilize proficiency in UNIX shell scripting and Perl scripting to automate tasks and streamline system operations.
  • Apply exposure to RAC cluster pre-requisite setup and knowledge of VCS cluster at L3 level to ensure high availability and reliability of system clusters.
  • Manage VXVM/VCS service group to maintain system availability and performance.
  • Apply basic knowledge of DevOps tools to streamline system operations and enhance efficiency
  • Utilize knowledge of Ansible language to automate system configuration and management tasks.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Linux administration role
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Linux Administration
  • Proficiency in performing OS upgrades in complex environments, including both VM and physical environments, and various firmware upgrade procedures.
  • Knowledge of OS compliance tools and experience in setting them up.
  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot HBA and NIC load balancing.
  • Experience in OS installation and configuration.
  • Proficiency in preparing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports.
  • Strong customer handling experience and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in UNIX shell scripting and Perl scripting.
  • Exposure to RAC cluster pre-requisite setup.
  • Knowledge of VCS cluster at L3 level.
  • Familiarity with VXVM/VCS service group.
  • Basic knowledge of DevOps tools.
  • Knowledge of Ansible language.
