L2 Networking with Lead Role for NOC

  1. Operations Management:
    • Oversee network operations and supervise staff.
    • Assign tasks, manage workload, and provide feedback.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and address customer complaints.
    • Handle escalated incidents or critical tickets.
    • Analyze risks and participate in major changes.
    • Diagnose issues, identify incident patterns, and drive problem resolution.
    • Follow ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, and Problem management.
  2. Technical Skills (Primary):
    • Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, DHCP, and routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP).
    • Hold Palo Alto certification with strong firewall (L2) skills.
    • Hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancer (LTM and GTM).
    • Familiarity with other firewalls (Cisco, ZScaler, Checkpoint).
    • Expertise in switching technology (Gigabit Ethernet, L2/L3 Switching, VLANs, STP, VTP).
    • Cisco Routing & Switching on Access, core and distribution layers, Wireless Cisco /Aruba.
  3. Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of core enterprise network experience (Routing & Switching).
  • F5 Load balancer experience (LTM, GTM).
  • L2 firewall skills (Palo Alto, Cisco, ZScaler, Checkpoint).
  • ITIL v3/v4 Foundation certification is mandatory.

Additional Skills (Preferred):
  1. Team Coordination and Supervision:
    • Coordinate team activities and provide leadership.
  2. Operational Management:
    • Handle network incidents, analyze risks, and resolve issues.
    • Participate in major changes.
  3. Customer Service:
    • Address customer queries professionally.
  4. Communication:
    • Effectively communicate with team members and management.
  5. Problem Solving:
    • Identify incident patterns and ensure adherence to ITIL processes.
  6. Training and Development:
    • Assist in training new employees and support ongoing development.
  7. Time and Attendance Tracking:
    • Monitor employee schedules.
  8. Emergency Response:
    • Handle emergencies during your shift.
  9. Continuous Improvement:
    • Strive for process improvements.
