Job Title: System Engineer (Obsolescence)
Role overview:
Responsible for APAC IT Obsolescence projects to migrate end-of-life operating system or application to latest and compliant version.
Reporting line : Head of Windows, Messaging and Virtualization
Head of Storage, Unix, Databases and Middleware
Main Responsibilities:
- Supports and maintains technologies, within Natixis Asia perimeter, including but not limited to:
- RHEL 7/8
- Middleware (MQ / Weblogic)
- NAS and SAN
- Backup and Restore
- Windows 2016/2019
- Deployment and management tools (SCCM)
- Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive...etc)
- Lead and work with Linux and Windows, IT Security and application team on Obsolescence project.
- Remove EOL OS and application by migration or decommission.
- Resolve vulnerability issues.
- Work closely with Asia head of IT security, Risk and Compliance to ensure Natixis systems comply with security guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure Natixis assets are properly used, inventoried and monitored.
- Documentation related to the deployed solutions and ensured they are updated regularly.
- Reports, follows up and escalate, if necessary, any incident in a timely manner and ensure it has been logged.

Technical Skill Requirements:
- Solid experience on RHEL7/8 and Windows 2016/2019 administration.
- Hands on with RHEL in-place upgrade and migration.
- Hands on experience on Windows server migration.
- Experience on NAS and SAN (EMC/Netapp) is preferred.
- Experience on Middleware (Weblogic / MQSeries / Control-M) is preferred.
- Experience on SCCM is an advantage.
Job Qualification (Education, years of experience and other soft skills):
- Bachelor's degree .
- 3+ years of experience with Linux and Windows administration. Preferred in financial industry .
- Self-motivated, good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of both written and spoken English
