GCC Practice Lead
Wipro is looking to hire a visionary leader to build and lead the GCC practice globally. The ideal candidate will be the face of Wipro to the GCC ecosystem and should be able to collaborate with Wipro market units and global business lines along with external ecosystem (client communities, industry bodies and government institutions) to build Wipro's business and brand in the GCC market.
The leader will be responsible for setting up GCC specific capabilities and build relationships with external partners (as needed) to drive business.
He/she should have extensive understanding of a GCC organization and should be identify key growth opportunities and offerings/capabilities. His/her connects in the ecosystem should be help expand Wipro's footprint across accounts where we currently don't have any GCC presence

Key responsibilities
1. Work with Wipro leadership to define Wipro's 3 years growth charter in the GCC market
2. Grow Wipro's business in the GCC market globally
i. Build relationships with key GCC decision makers (both globally and in India)
ii. Work with market units for GCC opportunities (setup, scale up, IT/ER&D/BPO offerings)
iii. Actively hunt new GCC accounts
3. Build and own GCC specific capabilities (in the GCC practice) - setup advisory, market intelligence, change management etc.
4. Work with global business lines and ecosystem partners to build differentiated offerings for GCCs (incl. co-innovation, transformation, tools/accelerators etc.) and take best of Wipro to the client
5. Proactively participate/publish in industry and government forums to enhance Wipro's visibility and brand in the GCC ecosystem
Desired experience / profile
1. Experienced P&L leader with 15-20 years' experience in building and scaling businesses in technology services space (IT/ER&D/Business services)
2. Strong experience of working with GCCs - ideally a former/current senior GCC leader (of a Fortune 500 org.) with exposure across the GCC lifecycle - planning, setup, scale up, expanding GCC's footprint internally across the global organization, procuring offerings from service providers and driving operational improvement
3. Strong connect/pulse of the market economics with understanding of regulations/policies to proactively make strategic choices to establish and retain Wipro's leadership in the GCC segment
4. Well known in the GCC ecosystem having strong connects with GCC Center Heads, industry bodies (eg. Nasscom, CII), government institutions (InvestIndia, Invest Telangana, GIFT city etc) - ability open doors and establish Wipro in the GCC community
