Job role
- The candidate is expected to work with Business stakeholders which will be high visibility role and own the pricing activity end to end.
- Manage large as well as day-to-day transactional deal pricing and order booking requests for major geographies.
- Guide the team towards success in deal pricing, especially for medium and large deals.
- Nurture a talent pool of candidates to ensure that deals submissions are closed with the capability to handle escalations.
- Partner with business teams on optimal pricing models and strategies for new offerings and bundled solutions, which requires in-depth understanding of Wipro’s business models across service lines.
- Participate and present varied commercial models in Deal review calls with management.

- Play a vital role in providing customized views of pricing data for customer
negotiation calls by analyzing data, presenting alternate views, and defending solutions.
- Work closely with Finance, Legal and Delivery teams to analyze contract terms and
understand risk on closed deals.
- Validate customer documents and vendor cost sheets to book orders for deals closed.
- Ensure accuracy of data at the time of Order booking, to avoid delays or errors in
downstream activities such as Revenue Recognition and Invoicing.
- Ensure that pricing tools are current and up to date with current inputs to ensure minimum variance between multiple tools.
- Play an active role in improvement and development of Deal Pricing Tool, which have a companywide impact.
- Create sales enablement materials to train Finance/Sales/Pre-sales/Delivery teams on processes and best practices for Pricing and O2C related processes.
- Participate and lead reviews with senior management on matters related to pricing, including preparation & analysis of MIS for ongoing & closed pricings, order bookings, and revenue closures.
- Monitor and ensure compliance of Pricing policy and processes for the team. S/he would also interface with Internal and 3rd party audit teams and support with pricing audits.
- Be responsible for the quarterly and annual performance reviews of the team.
