Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide strategic guidance and recommendations on pricing of contracts being executed by Wipro to maintain its competitive advantage and profit margins. The role also provides assurance that SoW are in line with internal guidelines and payment terms included in SoW and not adversely impacting Wipro's interest
Do
1. Contract pricing review and advise
a. Pricing strategy
i. Provide inputs to the development of pricing strategy for Wipro
ii. Educate and drive adherence of the pricing strategy in various SBUs to maintain a competitive advantage of Wipro
b. Review and advise on contract commercials
i. Work closely with pre-sales and BU leadership to review the contracts about to be finalized

ii. Review the Resources Loading Sheet (RLS)) submitted by pre-sales / delivery team and work on the contract pricing
iii. Highlight any anomalies observed in the RLS to the team and work with them to take corrective action.
iv. Propose a competitive pricing basis the effort estimate by considering the cost of resources, skills availability and identified premium skills
c. Review Contract commercial terms and conditions
i. Review the commercial terms and conditions proposed in the SoW
ii. Ensure they are aligned with internal guidelines for credit period and the existing MSAs and recommend payment milestones
2. Ensure accurate revenue recognition and provide forecast
a. Implement and drive adherence to revenue recognition guidelines
i. Ensure revenue recognition by the BFMs are done as per the IFRS standards
ii. Partner with BFMs and educate them on revenue recognition standards and internal guidelines of Wipro
b. Provide accurate and timely forecast of revenue
3. Validation of order booking
a. Adherence to order booking guidelines
i. Act as a point of check and ensure all documents, approvals and guidelines are adhered before the order is confirmed in the books of accounts
ii. Highlight any deviations to the internal guidelines / standards and work with the concerned teams to address the deviations
4. Team Management
a. Team Management
i. Clearly define the expectations for the team
ii. Assign goals for the team, conduct timely performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to own direct reports
iii. Guide the team members in acquiring relevant knowledge and develop their professional competence
iv. Educate and build awareness in the team in Wipro guidelines on revenue recognition, pricing strategy, contract terms and MSA
v. Ensure that the Performance Nxt is followed for the entire team
b. Employee Satisfaction and Engagement
i. Lead and drive engagement initiatives for the team
ii. Track team satisfaction scores and identify initiatives to build engagement within the team
