Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior Consulting Partner with deep expertise in Epic Systems implementations and clinical transformation, ideally for both Inpatient and Ambulatory environments.

As a Consulting partner, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex projects related to the implementation and adoption of Epic Systems within healthcare and large health plan organizations. You will work closely with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and integration of Epic Systems, while adhering to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end implementation and integration projects involving Epic Systems within healthcare and payer organizations.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, goals, and objectives, and provide expert guidance on Epic Systems implementation and integration strategies.
  • Develop and execute project plans, including defining project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Manage project teams, providing direction, guidance, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze existing systems, workflows, and processes to identify functional, technical, integration stakeholder adoption requirements and potential challenges.
  • Design and implement integration solutions, ensuring seamless data flow between Epic Systems and other healthcare systems.
  • Oversee testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of integrated systems.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the Epic Systems and related technologies to be implemented
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in healthcare technology, specifically related to Epic Systems implementation and integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical, and administrative staff, to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the integration process.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and recommendations to clients and senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing large scale healthcare IT projects, with a focus on Epic Systems implementation and integration.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Epic Systems methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of differences between "on premise", remote hosted and cloud based implementations.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, including scope, budget, and timeline management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams towards successful outcomes.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Epic Systems certification(s) preferred.
