Employee relation specialist is part of the HR team at Wipro Europe. The role will have the responsibility for managing the working relationship with the works councils in Germany and the European Workers council.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Legal, and other internal teams to ensure compliance with local laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement employee relations processes, programs and policies to foster a positive and respectful work culture.
- Evaluate and lead opportunities for relevant policy harmonization and/or changes where appropriate and applicable.

- Monitor and analyze employee relations trends and metrics and recommend solutions to improve organizational results and employee experience;
- Prepare collective agreements, negotiate with unions and work councils;
- Contribute to the preparation of European Works Council meetings;
- Lead the people transition (under ARD regulations) activities in case of people transfers and manage these projects;
- Provide expert and professional advice on a wide range of HR matters, including discipline, grievance, capability and performance management to ensure compliance with local law and company policies;
- Contribute to translate the strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic plans
- Stay updated on best practices and emerging issues in employee relations and HR. Oversee the collating, publishing and implementation of uniform HR policies when business and legislative changes as required.
Skills and Experience:
- Comprehensive practical experience in all responsibilities of Employee Relations
- 10+ years experience preferably in international organizations.
- Strong knowledge of European employment laws and regulations.
- Strong experience in managing relationships with Work Councils with focus on drafting, negotiating and signing works agreements. Focus on handling Employee relations and topics related to employment law in Germany.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, complex and dynamic environment, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to deal with ambiguity

- Should be able to work in diverse and multi-cultural organization
- Fluency in English and German
