Overview

This career opportunity within our career framework is at Senior Partner level and is for the Automotive Manufacturing consulting business unit. The role as a Senior Partner will lead growth of the consulting business across strategic account(s) by leveraging both; existing & emerging capabilities, in addition to creating new strategic growth areas to deliver significant profitable growth for the accounts and consulting globally. Our Senior Partner is expected to build C-level relationships, and leverage strategic partnerships as relevant for business growth strategy, in collaboration with the Global Account Executives and other business leaders globally.

Automotive Manufacturing Consulting helps clients unlock significant value in their businesses by addressing their critical issues through domain relevant, best practice business and IT Transformation capabilities. Through Industry 4.0 Consulting Services, we provide holistic and comprehensive set of frameworks, tools, methodologies and solutions that help manufacturers make justified decisions and reap business benefits quickly - reduce costs, increase revenues, minimize risks.

Description:
  • Leads the Manufacturing Automotive domain charter globally.
  • Accountable for Revenue and billable HC addition of business analysts and Domain Consultants
  • Engages with customers to conceptualize and develop new engagement pipeline in existing and new customers
  • Works closely with the sales and account teams and domain capability leaders to take the capabilities to the market and create pipeline
  • Managed leadership team of Practice Heads & Regional Heads
Responsibilities

Core responsibilities will include:
  • Grow and deliver:
    • Defining a sound business growth strategy. Focus on growing the consulting business contribution to 15%+ of Automotive Practice
    • Ensure the consulting business opens new business opportunities and expands Wipro's client positioning.
    • Big picture orientation, conceiving effective strategies to drive growth for the vertical
    • Delivery and program expertise with experience in handling multi shore consulting projects with distributed teams
    • Ability to drive & lead the strategic execution, manage change, build relationships with clients, partners, motivate teams & achieve results
  • Transform and innovate
    • Significant transformation proposition definition and engagement shaping using core and disruptive business strategies and technologies to solve business problems with clear business benefits
    • Proven track record in growing as well as sustaining and growing client account revenues through existing and new consulting engagements
    • Deep understanding of innovative customer models, products, services and business re-platforming strategies
  • Practice Leadership
    • Manage a diverse team of geographically distributed consulting professionals across different experience levels, including their goals & objectives, mentoring, career planning etc.
    • Defining & supporting a strong competency/capability-building strategy
  • Thought Leadership
    • Ability to converse with industry leaders, analysts and formulate POV on trends and proactively propose solutions, investment decisions along with published artifacts, industry speakerships, analyst interactions etc.
    • Creating a strong Wipro Market Positioning - increasing Wipro's mindshare in the communitions and media industries ecosystem (product companies, analysts and influencers)
  • Solutions:
    • Identifying & defining differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within the Automotive Manufacturing sector
  • Partnerships:
    • Nurture key ecosystem partnerships in key focus areas based on product evaluation/due diligence with the objective of building knowledge and networks
Qualifications :
  • 15+ years of Management/Technology Consulting experience with a strong exposure to Automotive Manufacturing
  • Ability to have high impact conversations with Automotive Manufacturing and Supply chain leaders
  • Prior experience of having managed revenue/consulting led sales targets
  • Supervise engagement deliverables when required
  • Ability to manage customer relationships and open new opportunities
  • Strong ability to contribute at the intersection of Technology and business
  • Entrepreneurial mindset

  • Know-how to comprehend complex scenarios, propose effective implementation plans & solutions in tackling challenges

  • Significant transformation proposition definition and engagement shaping using core and disruptive technologies to solve business problems for tangible business benefits at large enterprise clients
  • Be a champion and passionate advocate for Transformation to reposition Wipro as a strategic partner to accelerate and sustain customer value. The individual must be an ambassador for Digital Adoption and the Digital Transformation for the industry.
