PMO- Project Manager

Location: San Jose, CA

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business PMO Consultant with expertise in managing large Finance transformation ERP implementations (Oracle preferred).The candidate should Have strong project management credentials certifications (PMP, SaFE) and extensive end-to-end Project / Program Management Experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees multiple facets of technical projects for an organization; initiating programs, tracking their progress, and proposing solutions to technical issues
    • Accountable for effective coordination and scheduling with internal colleagues and external vendors (multiple teams and stakeholders)
    • Collaborates with Developers, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams to drive software development and manage technical dependencies across the stack
    • Coaches team members on how to obtain alignment between technical and non-technical teams
    • Plays a lead role in the roadmap planning process
    • Ensures timely alignment on the software and hardware design and asset requirements for the project
    • Ensures proactive identification of potential technical issues (and finds solutions for program problems as they arise)
    • Provides cross-functional leadership to the project/program, along with driving project deadlines and cost/budget considerations
    • Uses his/her technical background to ensure all dependencies and technical integrations are aligned for that program
    • Leads discussions in senior level meetings to update on progress
    • Ensures reporting is in line with expected formats and timeliness for senior-level audience

    • Stays up to date on current trends about program management and the client industry sector

Qualifications:
  1. Experience: 12+ years. Education: Bachelors - B.E./ B.Tech / BCA; Masters - M.Tech / MCA; MBA Preferred - Tier 1/2 business school
  2. Certifications: PM, Scrum Master Certification, ITIL, AWS Business Professional, etc. (preferred)
  3. Must Have ERP experience in financial (Oracle preferred)
  4. Have project management credentials / certifications: PMP and Agile.
  5. Have extensive end-to-end Sr. Project / Program Management Experience
  6. Has expert-level problem-solving skills
  7. Strong technical background is a key requirement for this role
  8. Strong ability to manage different stakeholder expectations.

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from [$80,000] to [$173,800]. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
