We are hiring an SRE Director. This role is expected to oversee the SRE & IT Operations team, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability of the complex systems. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage complex technical environments, drive operational excellence, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive SRE strategy aligned with the company's goals
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to drive high availability, reliability and performance of all systems and services
• Drive implementation of observability and automation tools and frameworks to streamline operational processes
• Drive the adoption of best practices in system design, architecture and integration of observability automation into the CI/CD pipeline

• Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance SRE capabilities.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and innovation within the SRE team
• Drive reliability at every stage of SDLC with hands on experience
• Identify and mitigate risks to system stability and performance - proactive and preventative
Qualifications:
~ 15+ years of leadership experience in Engineering Operations / SRE / DevOps / Platform Engineering
• Advanced understanding of SRE, DevOps, Cloud, and Container technologies with hands on experience - AWS / Docker / ECS / EKS / Terraform / Ansible
• Hands on experience on observability tools to set up robust monitoring and alerting solution - Preferably New Relic & Dynatrace
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages and Automation - Java / Python / Bash
• Strong understanding of Release and Deployment Management Processes and Tools
• Good understanding of front-end application frameworks - Preferably Angular / React / JavaScript / AJAX
• Hands on Performance improvement-front-end and back-end apps - preferably Angular & Java
• Strong Understanding of Distributed Microservices Architecture - Java / Springboot / Eureka / Gateway / Kafka
